About Us

Our world changed in 2020; between work-from-home distractions and social media addiction, we are facing a crisis of attention.

Centered is building the world's first Flow app for productivity - imagine a teleportation device to transport millions of knowledge workers to their Flow States to do their greatest work. Our early users report they get through their work 30% faster.

We are just getting started. In just 16 months, we raised two rounds of financing, built and launched our first product and now are working on our second iteration - hopefully with you!

Our Technologies

• Server: Typescript, Firebase
• Platform: AWS, Google, Vercel
• Frontend: Electron, React (a lot of usage of react hooks), Next.js, Typescript, Swift

Responsibilities

• Build and launch consumer-facing features
• Optimize and tune existing systems for speed and performance
• Work closely with design and product to define the future of Centered

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of experience with Typescript or Javascript and React
• A deep understanding of React, esp. functional components and hooks

Nice To Haves

• Strong knowledge of algorithms and data structures
• Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience) required
